OWNING: Only One of You

Martha Graham, a famous dancer and choreographer in the early 20th century, wrote in a letter to one of her students: "There is a vitality, a life force, a quickening that is translated through you into action, and there is only one of you in all time, this expression is unique, and if you block it, it will never exist through any other medium; and be lost. Of course, when you think about it...a lot of witches are round and loud, and the good ones do like to give out treats to little kids. So I guess maybe her parents did get the right holiday after all. One thing my mom really taught me about Halloween is how to let your inner child come out. She always dressed up each year with me and really got into the whole sp...
