The Stories for Children Show - Bringing Authors and Readers Together

The Stories for Children show is on the last Monday of every month. Each month we try and bring you some of the new, best-selling and award-winning authors of the children's and young adult writing world not only to share their work, but some of their favorite books in the genre as well.

This month hosts Virginis S Grenier, mom's choice and award-winning author, and Author, screenwriter,Marsha Casper Cook will be joined by book reviewers and bloggers to share their insight on what makes a good book, how to start your own summber book club and their favorite summer reading choices.

Halloween Recap

I love Halloween. It really is my favorite holiday in the year. I'm not sure if it has something to do with it being my mom's birthday or not. I know it is fun telling people I'm the daughter of a witch. I mean after all all witches are born on Halloween...aren't they. Of course, my mom isn't a mean witch. How to Stop Siblings From Fighting

As a mom of three kids I find myself always putting out some type of disagreement. I don't pretend to be wonderful at handling those situations and by the time I'm on round 5, 6, 7...12 my level of calm is pretty much out the door so when I saw this article I thought I would check it out. I'm not going to say I'll do everything they suggest or that I agree 100% but it was an interesting read and one I wanted to share.
