Interview with author Tess Gerristen on A Good Story is A Good Story

I just had to share the news. This coming Monday, at 8 pm Central - A GOOD STORY IS A GOOD STORY with Host Marsha Casper Cook, April Robins, Freda Roberts, and Virginia S. Grenier, will be having a very interesting discussion.

Author Tess Gerristen is ...going to be our guest on this exciting show. Tess has agreed to a one on one interview with Fran Lewis. Fran’s interview will focus on her latest novel Ice Cold. This book brings to light several major issues that are current in the news today. This book is based on a real life incident that she will discuss with Tess. Tess is a bestselling author and is also a doctor. She brings to her novels first-hand knowledge and experience working in emergency and autopsy rooms. Her interests vary and span a much larger spectrum than just medical topics. As an undergraduate in the anthropology at Stanford University, Tess cataloged centuries-old human remains, and continues to travel the world. Tess is a full-time mom, novelist. She resides with her family in Maine. Fran Lewis will interview Tess and discuss her latest novel, Ice Cold, medical career, her future projects and the TV series Rizzoli & Isles on TNT that is based on her books. Interview Friday with Lakisha Spletzer

Lakisha Spletzer is a single parent of two highly creative children. She has been writing stories since the tender age of eight. It was always for school or her own amusement; never for others. Lakisha has written fan fics (mostly during high school) and the stories tended to favor such shows as Star Trek, SeaQuest, and Highlander, just to name a few. She did a lot of poetry writing too during high school year; mainly to release all her angst, woes and emotions buried deep inside. After high school, Lakisha went to college and received two degrees: an AAS from Mountain Empire Community College (Big Stone Gap, Virginia) and a BA in Communications from the University of Virginia-Wise. It was not until after the birth of her first child she considered writing a novel.
