The World of Ink Network: The Writing Mama show will talk about Books and Online Marketing with with Karen Cioffi.

Karen Cioffi is the founder and manager of a marketing group, Writers on the Move, she has some experience with what works and doesn't work for touring and online marketing and will be sharing her views with hosts VS Grenier, Marsha Cook and J.D. Holiday along with you our audience.

Along with the Writers on the Move experience, Karen has attend a number of marketing teleseminars and tries to apply what she learns to her own marketing strategies.

Karen is also an author, ghostwriter and freelance writer and a member of the International Association of Professional Ghostwriters, the Professional Writers Alliance, and the National Association of Independent Writers and Editors.

Interview Friday with multi-genre author, Mayra Calvani

Mayra Calvani is multi-genre author, reviewer and freelance writer. Her stories, reviews, interviews and articles have appeared on multiple publications both in print and online. Her nonfiction work, The Slippery Art of Book Reviewing (co-authored with Anne K. Edwards) was a ForeWord Best Book of the Year Award Winner. Interview Friday with Mikey Brooks, author & Illustrator

VS: I want to thank you for being my guest here on The Writing Mama today. How long have you been writing? Mikey: I started writing when I was about 14 year old. I lived in a rural town in Missouri and our nearest neighbor was about a mile away. So friends were hard to come by. I fell in love with stories like Narnia and the Wizard of Oz and wished I could escape to these worlds. I had a hid out in the woods that surrounded our farm and I wrote about a world that existed in the reflection of a pond. I have a lot of fond memories about those woods.
